I get asked all the time how does a person get started on a career in the arts and I tell those people who truly want to try that whatever path works for you take that route.....there's no secret to that..... stay steadfast and true to your own vision wherever that may take you.........

Denee -- this is so true. When I used to teach H.S. I never dreamed that I'd become a "specialist" teaching ekphrastic poetry. I love my niche!
