Gallery I: [trans] TEXTURE. Artwork created with handmade paper or paper pulp. The pieces range from prints to pulp paintings to sculpture and the work has a tactile quality. The artists featured in the exhibit are Shannon Brock, Georgia Deal, Ellen Hill, Nnenna Okore and Gretchen Schermerhorn.
Gallery II: No Boundaries, features artwork created by persons with disabilities. The No Boundaries exhibit features pieces which were created in art clasees run by the Howard County Department of Recreation and Parks, the goal of these programs is to provide an opportunity for individuals with varying degrees of developmental disability to participate in an art class designed for self-expression, independence and relaxation.
