The Aesthetics and Artistry of Hanbok Exhibit Reception and Seminar ~ Friday, Feb. 09, 2018, 7 pm at the MICA Lazarus Center (Seminar) Hanbok originated nearly 3,000 years ago, with today's traditional Hanbok style evolving from the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1897). At the seminar, a professional Hanbok designer from South Korea will introduce and discuss various styles of Hanbok fashions. The next 2 days will feature a hands-on workshop with the fabrics, where the instructors will teach techniques involved in Hanbok design and fabrication.
