Baltimore City College Summer Concert Reunion 2015 ~~~ Linda R. Hall, Choir Director

Come and Enjoy!~~~~~~~~~~. Baltimore City College Choir has delighted audiences on television, radio, and stages in the Baltimore Metropolitan area and along the Eastern seaboard including South Carolina, Georgia, Canada, Florida, Maine, Massachusetts and a host of other states. They have been privileged to share the stage with Marin Alsop, Damon Gupton and The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra with Yo-Yo Ma, the Morgan State University Choir and The Baltimore Choral Arts Society. The choir has also participated in numerous competitions and adjudications in which they have consistently received superior ratings with copious awards and 1st place trophies. Over the years, the Baltimore City College Choir is honored to have performed at Baltimore’s Christmas Monument Lighting, the Christmas in Washington Celebration, at a number of U.S. Presidential Inaugural Balls and Ceremonies, and two impressionable performances at the White House including the most recent in December 2011. The choir has recorded four CD’s: Vision for the Millennium; Living the Vision: The Europe Tour; A New Vision: Great Things; and Live in Milan. Come Join Us ~ Lazy River (visual and performing arts) will create an active environment, a community of Lazy River villagers if you will, existing amongst artist-designed freestanding sculptural elements, water-propelled contraptions, props, site-specific and/or participatory installations, rides, mini-stages, and photo-ops. This environment will be accented by the appearance of live performers interacting with Artscape-going adults and children alike as they traverse the area encompassed and have fun! Artscape is America's largest free arts festival, attracting 400,000+ attendees over three days. Imagine turning down a small alley in the middle of the city. Suddenly, nestled among Baltimore-style row homes, you come upon a wide-open expanse with a big yard. Set back off the alley is a modern, spacious, ranch-style building with clean lines and a stone facade. This building would be pleasing if you saw it in California. In the middle of Butchers Hill, it is quite surprising. This is the live-work space of gallery owner and artist Maxine Taylor.
